National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS)
The mission of NIAMS "is to support research into the causes, treatment, and prevention of arthritis and musculoskeletal and skin diseases, the training of basic and clinical scientists ... and the dissemination of information." The site provides information about diseases such as arthritis, autoimmune diseases, gout, and osteoporosis as well as information about training programs, patient research registries, news, and links to related sites. Answers basic questions about the chronic skin (and sometimes eye) disease "characterized by redness, pimples and, in advanced stages, thickened skin" and summarizes current research. Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) "is a group of blistering skin conditions. The skin is so fragile in people with EB that even minor rubbing may cause blistering. ... International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT): Bibliographies
